| MORE ABOUT MYSELF Hi my name is James I am 16 years old and amateur radio operator and I currently attend Queens high school which is near the East Gate shopping centre and the newly built park meadows shopping centre which is directly opposite east gate shopping centre. I live in Kensington Johannesburg South Africa. I have many different hobbies like: Amateur radio (of course) Building electronic kits And watching dstv (what would I do with out dstv or even the creation of the television) I am not much of a sporting person but occasionally watch a game of cricket or rugby. Working conditions. I currently operate from my bedroom where I can watch TV and listen to the qso's (conversations) on amateur radio. I do have a shack witch is the room next to my room it is still being filled with radio apparatus and so on so the shack isn't complete yet. I have rooted the cables from my antenna through that room, so when I do decided to move into the shack the cables are there and I can just plug them into the back of the base station and I am onto the air just like that I have run 2 extra cables for the hf antenna and the 6m antenna. The one that is currently in use is the 2m/70cm coax. well I hope that Story has given you a much better idea of me and my qth! |
